HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Safety Considerations

Your safety, comfort, and well-being during HBOT are our top priorities. Treatments are conducted in FDA-cleared, monoplace Sechrist chambers under trained medical supervision, ensuring a controlled and safe environment for every session. Each chamber features clear visibility and patient viewing screens to support comfort while maintaining strict clinical oversight.

While HBOT is generally safe, certain medical conditions may prevent treatment, including:

  • Untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung)

  • Pregnancy

  • COPD

  • Certain chemotherapy drugs

  • Specific medical implants

  • Seizure disorders

We conduct thorough consultation to ensure HBOT is appropriate and safe for each individual.

Items Not Permitted Inside the Chamber:

  • Cigarettes, matches, or lighters

  • Mobile/cellular phones

  • Hearing aids, batteries, or electronics with exposed switches

  • Watches, jewelry, keys, coins, or money

  • Perfume, cosmetics, make-up, hair gel, or non-approved skin lotions

  • Fresh nail polish or hair dye

  • Petroleum jelly or other flammable substances

  • Newspapers, books, shoes, socks, street clothes, or synthetic clothing
