HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

Safety Considerations

At Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center, our primary goal for your Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is your wellbeing, safety, and comfort. We are committed to providing a top-quality professional spa-like environment where you can relax and rejuvenate amidst tranquil music and lush greenery.

Equipped with three mono placed Sechrist chambers offering clear see-through visibility and attached TVs, our chambers provide a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere during each session. Indulge in exceptional service and experience unlimited luxury for your mind, body, and soul.

While prioritizing your safety, certain conditions may exclude individuals from receiving HBOT sessions. These include untreated pneumothorax (collapsed lung), COPD, pregnancy, disqualifying drugs, severe lung disease, emphysema, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled diabetes, current upper respiratory infections, history of seizure or uncontrolled fever, chronic sinusitis or sinus problems, claustrophobia, wearing alcohol, petroleum, or synthetic products inside the chamber, and taking respiratory depressants such as benzodiazepines and Opioids prior to or during sessions. Assessment by a Hyperbaric Medical Advisor is necessary for conditions such as medical implants and seizure disorders.

For your safety, please inform your hyperbaric chamber operator of any changes in your health condition or medication before each visit. Remove dentures, battery-powered devices, hearing aids, jewelry, static-producing items, wigs, and any other items deemed unsafe by the operator.

For those planning air travel, we recommend allowing a 24-hour window both before and after your HBOT sessions to ensure optimal safety and effectiveness.

At Scottsdale Hyperbaric Center, we prioritize your wellbeing. Our mission is to create a safe and comfortable environment where you can experience the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy with peace of mind.
